This is just one of many reasons why we need to have the closets redone in the house. Currently this closet is in the middle room (between the main and guest bedrooms). It's actually bigger than it looks but the shelves don't make good use of the space. We may have paused in the house renovations to plan the wedding but someday we'll actually reverse this closet. It shares a wall with our bedroom so we can make a much larger closet in our bedroom and close off the closet on this side. In fact, this will be the next renovation we undertake as it involves moving a wall and is the last thing standing between us and shiny, beautiful floors.
This room will then become the office. And maybe we'll actually be able to store all our shoes in the closet. Imagine that.
